Bubble tea catering for Meta in Amsterdam
Meta asked us to bring a bubble tea bar into their Amsterdam office for a team event. The brief was simple to say and harder to do: something people would queue for, served fast enough that nobody missed a session, and handled entirely by us from set-up to clear-down.
What we did
- A staffed bubble tea bar built on site, with our own equipment, brought in from London.
- Tea bases brewed fresh on the day rather than pre-mixed, with fruit and milk tea options and a choice of toppings.
- Dairy-free and lower-sugar options as standard, clearly labelled, alongside full allergen information.
- Our own team running the bar for the whole service window, so no client staff were pulled into hosting.
- Set-up, service and clear-down inside the building’s access window, agreed with the facilities team in advance.
Why it worked
Drinks catering lives or dies on queue time. We size the bar and the team to the guest count and the length of the window, not to the budget line, so the queue keeps moving. Because everything is made on site, the product is better than anything that can be delivered in advance, and people come back for a second cup, which is the honest measure of whether an office event landed.
