The brief
Zscaler held a small offsite at its Barcelona office in June 2025, booked for 15 people. The client needed a light breakfast and a light lunch, delivered at agreed times and ready for self-service. Pearl Lemon coordinated between the UK-based contacts who made the booking and the team in Barcelona. This was a delivery service: there were no catering staff on site.
Coordinating across borders
The people approving the booking, receiving the deliveries and attending the meeting were in different places, so access, timing, payment, menu choices and contacts were all agreed in advance. The client asked for vegetarian and gluten-free options, separated or labelled, and packaging suitable for a professional office.
The food
Breakfast was a lighter continental selection of pastries, fruit and drinks. Lunch centred on ready-to-serve wraps, sandwiches, quiche and desserts. Everything was designed to arrive ready to eat, so guests could take food when their agenda allowed, with dietary labels on the relevant items.
Two timed deliveries
Pearl Lemon handled the communication with both sides, the advance payment, access instructions and two deliveries, one in the morning and one at midday. Presentation was adapted to the space available in the office.
The outcome
Both meal services were completed. The booking was for 15 people; around nine attended on the day (estimate), and the food provided was more than sufficient for the group. Feedback from the client side was positive.
Why it matters for international offices
For a short offsite abroad, success can mean not needing a service team in the room at all. The client kept control of its meetings while the food, timing, dietary information and local handover were arranged for them.
Questions buyers ask
Do you offer drop-off catering without staff?
Yes. For Zscaler's Barcelona offsite in June 2025 we delivered a light breakfast and a light lunch at agreed times, ready for self-service, with no catering staff on site. This suits small groups who want to keep the meeting room private.
Can a UK team book catering for an office in Spain?
Yes. Zscaler's booking was made by UK-based contacts for a team in Barcelona. Pearl Lemon coordinated access, timing, advance payment, menu choices and contacts on both sides before the two deliveries.
How are vegetarian and gluten-free options handled on a delivery?
They are separated or labelled. Zscaler asked for vegetarian and gluten-free options with packaging suitable for a professional office, and dietary labels were placed on the relevant items so guests could help themselves.
What was on the menu for the Barcelona offsite?
Breakfast was a lighter continental selection of pastries, fruit and drinks. Lunch centred on ready-to-serve wraps, sandwiches, quiche and desserts, designed to arrive ready to eat so guests could take food when their agenda allowed.
What should we send for an international office delivery?
Send the office address and access rules, booked numbers, delivery times, dietary needs and the on-site contact who will receive the food. Tell us who approves and pays so the booking can be settled before the day.
