The brief
VeliTech exhibited at ICE Barcelona 2026, with Excellent Expo managing the stand. Pearl Lemon was engaged by Excellent Expo to run hospitality on Stand 1D50 from 19 to 21 January: espresso coffee, tea, soft drinks, water and a limited selection of alcoholic drinks during set afternoon windows. Pearl Lemon did not build the stand or run VeliTech’s wider presentation.
A specification that kept moving
The drinks list, glassware, cups, staffing and equipment all changed in the run-up to the show. Alcohol was limited to agreed afternoon windows rather than served all day. The stand also had the usual exhibition limits on access, power supply and loading.
Keeping the offer clear
The team shaped the proposal around steady coffee and tea service throughout the show, with the premium drinks confined to the agreed time slots. Working with a local supplier, it covered equipment, drink stock, cups, access and restocking, and adjusted for extra latte cups, tea service and disposables as requirements changed.
Three days in a temporary venue
A three-day stand needs the same reliable opening, stock checks and closing routine each day. Pearl Lemon coordinated the local team and the exhibition stakeholders so everyone worked from the latest requirements, and service ran on all three days of the show.
The outcome
The drinks service was delivered across all three exhibition days despite several changes to the scope, and feedback passed on after the show was positive.
For exhibition teams
Visitors remember the coffee, but exhibitors are buying consistent hospitality without managing stock, equipment or supplier calls themselves. Clear version control, local delivery and realistic stock planning are what make that work at international shows in Barcelona and elsewhere in Europe.
Questions buyers ask
Can you work for a stand builder rather than the exhibitor?
Yes. At ICE Barcelona 2026 we were engaged by Excellent Expo, which managed VeliTech's Stand 1D50, to run hospitality from 19 to 21 January. Pearl Lemon did not build the stand or run VeliTech's wider presentation.
What drinks can a stand offer?
For VeliTech the offer covered espresso coffee, tea, soft drinks, water and a limited selection of alcoholic drinks during agreed afternoon windows, with premium drinks confined to those time slots.
What happens when the specification keeps changing?
We keep everyone on the latest version. The VeliTech drinks list, glassware, cups, staffing and equipment all changed before the show, and the team adjusted for extra latte cups, tea service and disposables while coordinating the local team and stakeholders.
Do you use local suppliers for shows abroad?
Where it helps. For VeliTech Pearl Lemon worked with a local supplier in Barcelona covering equipment, drink stock, cups, access and restocking, with the same opening, stock checks and closing routine each day.
