Performance-Led Catering for the Adidas ADIZERO London Activation
At a performance-footwear activation, food and drink have to express the same energy as the product. Pearl Lemon supported adidas ADIZERO hospitality with a menu built around movement, nutrition and the demands of a changing four-day programme.

The brief
From 24 to 27 April 2025, the adidas ADIZERO activation operated around the Charing Cross and Trafalgar Square area, with a separate Kingsway Tunnel element. The schedule encompassed guest sessions, content activity, evening hospitality and open-door attendance. The latest internal programme forecast roughly 2,000 guest visits across the four days. Pearl Lemon’s remit was the food-and-beverage operation: preparing and serving appropriate drinks and snacks in an environment built around the performance identity of the brand.
The challenge
The guest programme was not static. Attendance, venue configuration, session flow and service requirements evolved as the activation approached. Drinks had to fit the campaign aesthetic, stay practical in a temporary space with limited preparation and refrigeration and remain manageable across separate hospitality locations. Performance-oriented menu choices also demanded close attention to allergen controls rather than assuming every ‘healthy’ item would automatically suit all guests.
Our approach
Our team developed a compact, performance-led hospitality offer featuring smoothies, protein drinks, hydration and suitable snack formats. Names, presentation and serviceware were designed to sit comfortably alongside the ADIZERO visual world. Black cups and napkins formed part of the branded packaging plan, while equipment, staffing, refrigeration, ice and deliveries were coordinated for the changing service pattern. The objective was dependable execution that complemented the activation, not a catering station fighting for attention.
How it was delivered
The finished event photographs described in the project archive show the beverage service positioned behind a visually integrated ADIZERO counter. Uniformed team members, coordinated serviceware and a dark counter environment supported the creative direction. Operational planning covered daytime and evening formats, multiple programme days and a distinct tunnel hospitality element. This was an exercise in making live catering adapt to the production, rather than asking the production to bend around the catering.
The outcome
Four days of activation support are documented, together with the branded hospitality setup. The source describes approximately 2,000 planned guest visits; it does not contain an independently audited count of guests actually served, nor a formal client satisfaction report. We therefore present the programme scale as a forecast, not a measured catering outcome. The strongest verifiable proof is the alignment of service design, menu, styling and operations in a high-profile temporary activation.
What this means for your event
For sportswear launches, fitness brands and fast-moving experiential campaigns, a credible food-and-beverage partner needs more than good recipes. This project shows the value of matching the menu to the audience, checking operational conditions early and delivering hospitality that belongs visually and practically within the wider experience.
