What the booking was
In spring 2025, Vodafone engaged Pearl Lemon Catering to provide food for internal corporate events. The brief asked for canapés, light bites and presentation in keeping with the Vodafone brand. We have not listed the number of events, their dates or attendance, because we do not hold a confirmed schedule we can publish.
What made this brief different
Internal events vary in running order and attendance even when the brand standard stays the same. The food had to support networking and internal communications rather than compete with them: easy to eat while standing and talking, served unobtrusively, and presented in a clean, modern style that suited the company’s visual identity.
Who did what
- Vodafone: the events, the agenda, venue setup and content.
- Pearl Lemon Catering: canapés and light bites, brand-aligned food presentation, and the planning, service, replenishment and clear-down for the food.
The operating method
The approach followed a simple repeatable sequence: agree requirements with the events team, stage the food, serve without interrupting, replenish, clear down and report back. Agreeing that sequence once means each new booking does not start from scratch, and the internal team does not have to brief the caterer in full every time.
Canapés and one- or two-bite items were chosen because colleagues at internal events move around rather than sit down. Food that does not need a plate and cutlery keeps conversations going.
Outcome
Pearl Lemon provided the catering for Vodafone’s internal events in spring 2025. We do not claim a number of events, a quality score or a record of no issues.
Scoping catering for recurring internal events
If your team runs internal events through the year, agree the format once and vary the menu within it. Send us:
- roughly how often you meet, and typical numbers
- standing or seated, and how long the food needs to last
- brand colours or presentation rules
- dietary requirements to cover as standard
- how far ahead each date is usually confirmed
We will propose a standard format with menu options for each date. To start, contact our events team or book a call.
Questions buyers ask
Can you cater a series of internal events rather than one date?
Yes. For Vodafone's spring 2025 internal events we worked to one agreed format across the series, with canapés, light bites and brand-aligned presentation, while the menu varied from event to event. Agreeing the service style, dietary rules and booking routine once means your team does not rebuild the brief for every date.
Who handled the venue set-up and agenda for Vodafone's events?
Vodafone did. Pearl Lemon's role was the hospitality: food, drink and presentation, plus the planning behind them. The agenda, venue set-up and content sat with the client. Making that split clear at the start keeps responsibilities simple for an internal events team.
Why canapés and light bites for internal company events?
At internal events colleagues mingle and move around rather than sit down. Food eaten in one or two bites keeps conversations going and needs no table plan. For a seated or longer event a buffet or bowl food may suit better, and we can advise once we know the format.
What should we send to quote a recurring internal events programme?
Send how often you meet, the usual numbers, the venue or office, the service window, any dietary rules and whether the catering should follow your brand guidelines. With that we can propose a repeatable format and menu rotation for the programme.
