The brief
Hackett London commissioned a morning hospitality service for 11 June 2025 at GPE Offices, 18 Hanover Square, London. The agreed window was 08:00 to 12:00, and the revised proposal planned for approximately 400 expected guests. This was a separate project from Hackett's 2 July 2025 coffee and matcha activation at Cabot Square, which later referred back to this June event.
A short preparation window
The revised proposal was finalised with only days to go before the event. Staffing, equipment hire, supplies and site logistics all had to be confirmed quickly so the service could be ready for an early-morning start in a central London office building.
What was on the menu
The scope covered premium coffee and tea: espresso-based drinks, premium teas and hot chocolate, with milk alternatives and flavoured syrups. Pearl Lemon supplied a commercial espresso machine and grinder, a portable water supply, napkins, stirrers and transport.
Working with Hackett's own cart and cups
Hackett provided its own branded cart, and in the final revision of the brief the cups were also supplied by the client. Pearl Lemon's role was the drinks operation around that set-up: two proposed baristas, equipment, ingredients, setup and pack-down. We did not design or build the cart or run the wider brand activation.
Planned numbers
The figure of around 400 was the expected audience in the proposal, not a counted attendance.
When this model works
This format suits brand and office events where the client brings its own cart or cups and needs a specialist team to run the coffee service. The useful lesson is to agree early who supplies what, how guests will flow through the morning, and when the team can access the site.
