It Makes Us Happy
Because of the happy chemicals in our brains, we feel good when celebrating accomplishments. Dopamine is released into our brain when we expect or achieve something – and it feels good, so we want more of it.
We also receive it from less healthy activities, so why not incorporate lots of opportunities for that dopamine rush into what we do, such as creating tiny goals with lots of opportunities to celebrate success?
Having a Strong Success Mindset
Success is at the centre of whatever we desire to improve, achieve, or have more of – money, health, fitness, romance, or happiness.
Your mental state determines a major part of success; thus, having a success mindset is important. And cultivating a success mindset is necessary.
Focus on what you’ve accomplished rather than a big list of what you still need to do. Celebrate every victory, no matter how tiny, to build a success mindset. By telling yourself things like ”I am successful” or ”I can succeed because I’ve succeeded before,” you can boost your self-esteem and success mindset.
